After several quieter years since Covid, yesterday’s Llangynidr Country Fair felt like a return to the “good old days” for our club. Blessed with beautiful weather, well over a dozen members proudly displayed their vehicles, drawing in crowds of visitors eager to stop, chat, and reminisce about their own experiences with classic Land Rovers.
The sunshine brought a lively atmosphere to the fair, and it was heartening to see so much interest in our display. Many conversations sparked fond memories, and it seems likely that we welcomed some new members to the fold as a result.
Due to the dry conditions, a ban on fires was in place, but that did nothing to dampen spirits. Everyone enjoyed the day, and the show was a great success. We’re already looking forward to returning next year—and wondering how many of our members might be tempted to add a miniature goat to their collection before then!
