The club’s purpose
The club was set up in the late-nineties with the purpose of bringing together local Land Rover enthusiasts. We have members from all over South Wales, with ages spanning from newly born to just about hanging in there.
We have a monthly meeting and get out as often as we can on road runs, camping trips, factory tours, gentle green laning, pub quizzes and anything else that grabs our members’ interest.
We welcome new members and as a family club, membership runs to everyone in your house!
We are an enthusiasts club rather than an owners club, so don’t let not owning a Land Rover prevent you from joining in!
We have a monthly meeting at the Ffynnon Wen in Llanishen (Thornhill Road, Cardiff, CF14 9UA. What 3 Words: ///anyone.simple.museum).
Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month except for December, and everyone is welcome to come along and see if the club is for them!
Not only is this a great place to meet other club members and spend all evening talking ‘Land Rover’, many of our members also choose to have an evening meal here too. The official meeting time is 19:30, but the area is reserved from 19:00 so if you would like to eat you can do so beforehand if you wish.
We are family friendly, so you are welcome to bring everyone.
If you want to join the club then the best way is to come along to a meeting or come and say ‘Hello’ to us at a show. That way you’ll get an idea of whether the club is for you or not. Membership is £25 for the first year, and £20 for subsequent years. For this you can enjoy our company, free participation in the local car shows that we take part in, reduced prices on national shows, potentially reduced car insurance and much more – and don’t forget, you can bring the entire family! And definitely your dogs!
To find out how to join the club please email Edwin using firstname.lastname@example.org and he will advise of the process.
