On Sunday 19 September the club attended The Big Welsh Car Show, held at Margam Park. The event was in its second year, and is growing nicely.

It was a horrifically early start to the day, with us meeting at Cardiff West Services at 07.00 and after ensuring we had notified Dave, who was waiting for us at Pencoed, we set off at 07.30, making good progress along the M4 in what one might describe (if they were easily pleased...) as a majestic convoy.

Upon arriving, the stand, marquee, and most importantly tea earn were set up, and we were ready for a fantastic day! The sun shone all day, and for once at a car show, there wasn't a drop of rain!

The day went very well, and before leaving and everyone going their own way, we assembled in front of the castle for a photo (not forgetting some of our younger members)!

All in all a lovely day - it's sad that the show season is over for this year, but it won't be long until May Day and we start all over again at Singleton Park in Swansea! Many thanks to our club members for attending, and to those visitors that came to talk to us and join the club.
